This easy slow-cooker version of the popular “Marry Me Chicken” combines tender chicken, a creamy Parmesan sauce, and savory sun-dried tomatoes. Just dump the ingredients into the crockpot and let it do the work.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs (900 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes (drained if packed in oil)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and minced garlic over the chicken.

Cover and cook:
- Low: 4–6 hours
- High: 2–3 hours
- Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, stir the sauce. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water and stir it into the crockpot. Cover and cook for another 15–20 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
