Usha Sobhraj is the daughter of 'Bikini Killer' and 'the Serpent' Charles Sobhraj and his former lover, Chantal Compagnon. Her father is currently serving a life sentence, as in 2023.

His father became a topic of controversy after chilling new series, The Serpent, began streaming on Netflix in April 2021.

Usha Sobhraj was adopted by her stepfather Leon Harris after marrying with her mother, Chantal Compagnon, of Paris, in 1975.

She had zero contact with Sobhraj since she was a baby. She moved with her family to Litchfield, Connecticut. She severed relations with both of her original parents and now works as a crime fighter in the US.

She graduated from Boston University and joined the LAPD Reserve Programme in 2007. She previously worked as a professional print journalist.

Her mother came from a conservative Parisian family while her  biological father, Charles was the result of a fling between a Vietnamese shop girl and an Indian businessman.

Usha Sobhraj, who cut links with her dark past, has been living quietly in the US and working as a member of the LAPD's Counter-Terrorism and Criminal Intelligence Bureau. She joined in 2008.

Since 2007, she has been a member of the LAPD Reserve Program.

Usha Sobhraj is now married with Jason Sutliff, 51, a Fire Captain in San Marino, California, on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

She is a formidable woman now a mother of one, is only ten years. Moreover, she has even cut off her mother because she is so eager to escape this aspect of her past.

 

She has a sister named, Sardine. Her father was suspected of committing at least a dozen murders in the 1970s.
