Aryaman and Aryaveer Jhunjhulwala are the twin sons of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who was an investor with a Midas touch. He died on August 14, 2022, in Mumbai at the age of 62. He referred to as India’s own Warren Buffet, was born to an Indian Tax officer in a middle class family.


He was also known by the name 'Big Bull' whose net worth stands at $4.6 billion (Rs 34,387 crore), in 3 July 2021. His first big win was Tata Tea, where he made a profit of Rs 5 lakh in 1986. Within just three months, the price of Tata Tea shares rocketed up from Rs 43 to Rs 143, more than tripling his investment.

Aryaman and Aryaveer grew up in a Rajasthani Marwari family, in Mumbai. His grandfather Radheshyam Jhunjhunwala worked as a Commissioner of Income Tax.

His surname indicates that his ancestors belonged to Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was graduated from Sydenham College and thereafter enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

How did Aryaman and Aryaveer's father died?

Jhunjhunwala was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on 14 August 2022, where he died at 6:30 a.m. His death was attributed to kidney-related problems and acute multiple organ failure.

"Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India's progress. His passing away is saddening."
