Bill Melugin was born on February 26, 1985 an raised in Orange County, California, United States. At Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2012. Aside from studying Spanish linguistics, he also has a conversational understanding of the language.
